/In the summer of 2026 I created “Learn by Doing”, an artwork created together with the students of the summer program at Fonte dell’Ovo Middle School.

For me, it was a first in two ways: working with such young students and creating a ground mural. I have to say, both turned out to be wonderful experiences.

The artwork is inspired by the famous quote from educational reformer John Dewey, and it also reflects the philosophy that guides my work as a visual designer. I think it’s the perfect piece to be seen from the terraces of a middle school, and painting it at the very school I once attended was a great honor.
