/Japanese culture is incredibly rich, and its visual culture is no exception: that’s why it was a pleasure to design some graphics for Dolly Noire‘s Fall-Winter 2025 collection. The subjects vary, but are all tied to Japanese imagery: from a Tsukumogami snapback —spirits born from everyday objects that gain consciousness or magical powers— to a vintage robot toy, to a reimagined stamp or matchbox. I also got to design numerous pins, always blending Japanese imagery with the brand’s own.
