Alphabet for lettera 40

“Letters from the quarantine”

When Marco and Valentina asked me for some ready letters for Lettera40 – Letters from the Quarantine, I really wanted to give them quickly, so I stole here and there from old works but also from something not out yet, and I’ve put together some stuff.
In these days though I realized that it would be nice to have a complete alphabet. So I started drawing the missing letters, in groups of 5/6, divided in five different styles and here you can see the result.

The project:

They asked some of their favorite illustrators, letterers, type designers, cartoonists and artists to interpret one or more glyphs of the Latin alphabet, each with their own sensitivity.
This project was born to collect as many donations as possible by selling the posters on the site by April 25th 2020, so that they’re able to donate the proceeds to the Italian regions most affected by the Novel Coronavirus: Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna, Veneto, Piedmont and Marche.
